Our Standard Pendant style consists of a hand-blown glass shade that faces upwards to keep light bulbs out of sight. The glass has been drilled to allow the hardware to be directly mounted to the glass and paired with a hanger that has been individually sized to match the desired Overall Length (OAL) from the ceiling to the bottom of the glass.

Glass shades range from 18″ to 30″ diameters and can be fluted or round. Colors can be chosen from our color chart or customized. Note: some colors are not well suited for round shapes. Shades 22″ in diameter or smaller are wired with an S-cluster that holds 2 standard sockets. Shades 24″ diameter or bigger can be wired with a cluster that holds 4 standard sockets. Sockets are each rated to hold up to a 100 watt or equivalent bulb and can be dimmable. All parts comply with all applicable UL standards.

Hangers come in several different styles as well.
–A few chainlinks may be used to keep a pendant flush to the ceiling.
–Our small twist hanger can be used for an OAL of 26″ or less. This hanger is simply made up of a square tube that has been carefully heated and twisted by hand.
–Our most popular hanger is the 3-part twisted hanger. Much like our spiral bases, these hangers are all unique and make a statement themselves. Three pieces of square tubing are carefully heated and bent by hand before being bound together top and bottom with an elegant metal wrap. These hangers are great for an OAL of 24″ or more. Up to a 36″ OAL is considered standard; larger sizes are available but are subject to an additional charge.

All hardware, including the cap and ball on the bottom of the glass, the hanger and the ceiling hardware is powder coated. Our standard color is black; grey, silver and brown are regularly available for an additional charge. Custom powder coat colors can also be discussed.

Our Trio and Quartet Pendants are another popular style that boasts clean lines a very limited hardware really letting the glass shine.

The hanger, sized to each piece, is comprised of 3 or 4 gently sloping arms that are bound together by a metal wrap at the top. Attached to each arm is a standard socket that curls into the glass bowl.  Small buttons are the only sign of how the glass is held onto the metal hanger. All hardware, including the buttons, hanger and ceiling hardware is powder coated. Our standard color is black; grey, silver and brown are regularly available for an additional charge. Custom powder coat colors can also be discussed.

Our Cable Pendant is very similar to the Trio and Quartet Pendant, simply switching out the bent metal hanger for silver braided cable. The cable attaches with just a few small buttons visible on the outside of the glass. The 4 bulb lighting cluster is also suspended via cable coming straight down from the center of the ceiling canopy. Sockets are each rated to hold up to a 100 watt or equivalent bulb and can be dimmable. All parts comply with all applicable UL standards. All hardware is silver and/or stainless steel. Our Panel Pendant is a new addition that brings our love of cast glass into the lighting line. This style of casting has been used for decades in our menorahs and often described to capture light and movement, a moment frozen in time.

The Panel Pendant is comprised of an 24″ diameter iron frame that supports 8 clear cast triangle panels and paired with an individually sized hanger. The hanger is made up of 4 gently sloping arms that are bound around one center piece that the frame hangs from. All hardware, including the cap, hanger and ceiling hardware is powder coated. Our standard color is black; grey, silver and brown are regularly available for an additional charge. Custom powder coat colors can also be discussed.

Unlike our other lighting, this pendant has been assembled with 2 round LED panels to provide even lighting across the entire piece. All parts comply with all applicable UL standards.

One of the recent additions to the Glasslight Pendant line up is the Gong Pendant. This pendant is made up of a large cylindrical glass shade that tapers in at the top where a bold round balancer pairs the glass with a single curved metal hanger.

The glass shade is about a 15″ tall and a 12″ diameter. While popular in our Frost Miro Color pattern, glass is available in any of our standard colors, see our color chart here, or color can be customized.

Tucked inside the top of the glass you’ll find an S-cluster that holds 2 standard sockets. Sockets are each rated to hold up to a 100 watt or equivalent bulb and can be dimmable. All parts comply with all applicable UL standards.

The Single Curved Hanger is sized to match the desired OAL. All hardware, including the cap, balancer, hanger and ceiling hardware is powder coated. Our standard color is black; grey, silver and brown are regularly available for an additional charge. Custom powder coat colors can also be discussed.

Glasslight’s Pendants can be suspended from a variety of hangers that can make a bold statement themselves or sink into the background and let the glass shine. Not all pendant styles will work with all hanger styles.

Hangers have a standard powder-coated black finish but may be available in brown, grey, silver or a custom color. Additional charges may occur.

Our Mini Pendants come in 5 Standard shapes; sphere, oval, straight, bell and fluted. They average about 7-8″ tall and 4-5″ wide with the exception of the sphere. For an additional fee we also offer a cylinder that is open top and bottom.

These pendants are suspended via a black cable that is sized to match the desired Overall Length and accompanied by matching powder coated black hardware. For an additional charge, stainless metal cable and matching silver powder coated hardware is available. Also available is a powder coated metal tube which conceals all wires inside but requires a small loop on top on the glass.

All minis are wired with a single candelabra socket which can hold up to a 100 watt or equivalent bulb and can be dimmable. All parts comply with all applicable UL standards.

Glass color can be any of our standard colors as seen on our color chart or can be customized. As Mini Pendants are often ordered in quantities of 2 or more, please remember that these pieces are handmade and slight variations in shape, size, and color may occur.
